The Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission has increased the state minimum wage and all pay rates in WA awards effective from the first pay period on or after 1 July 2019.
The Commission has today awarded a 2.75% increase in the state minimum wage for employees who have reached 21 years of age, lifting it to $746.90 per week. WA award rates of pay will also increase by 2.75%.
Junior rates and rates for apprentices and trainees will also increase proportionately.
The new minimum rates and updated Wageline WA award summaries will be available on the Wageline website by 1 July 2019.
