A wild fire occurred near Chatcup Road on 3 February 2007. EnergySafety carried out an investigation into the cause of the fire and determined that the fire started when a 22 kV conductor clashed with an under-slung earth wire, releasing molten metal that fell to the ground and ignited dry stubble.
